Linda MowBray
President/CEO
Linda joined KHCA/KCAL in October 2001 following 14 years as Social Services Director at a skilled nursing center. She was promoted to Director of the Kansas Center for Assisted Living in April 2013. She works closely with the state licensed-only homes on regulatory issues, compliance, reimbursement, KanCare and special projects. Linda’s bachelor’s degree is from Washburn University in Topeka.
Polly Berkley
VP of Operations and Education
Polly joined the KHCA/KCAL staff In January of 2014 after spending 13 years in the corporate events world. Polly has a bachelor of science degree in sociology with a minor in business from Emporia State University and is a Registered Adult Care Home Operator. Polly currently serves on the Nurse Advisory Board for Rasmussen College and is part of the Kansas Dementia Partnership. She takes pride in organizing and planning valuable education events for providers across the state of Kansas.
Jennafer Sumner
Director of Membership
Jennafer joined KHCA/KCAL in July of 2013 with 11 years of healthcare experience, seven of which were business related. After a year and a half of serving as the Director of Finance for KHCA/KCAL, in February 2015 she transitioned to Director of Membership. Jennafer is a Registered Adult Care Home Operator and has been a great asset to the association.
Kristin Plantz
Director of Finances
Kristin joined the KHCA/KCAL staff in February 2015, with more than eight years of accounting experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University. Kristin is a Registered Adult Care Home Operator and has been an integral part of the team.
Teresa Keating
Special Programs Coordinator
Teresa joined the KHCA/KCAL staff in April 2021 with 20 years of association experience, with eight years of that being health care-related. In November of 2021, Teresa became a Registered Adult Care Home Operator. We are excited to see what she can do for our members and the association.
